St Patty's Day Will Never Be the Same!!

This past Saturday Yummy Inc VIPs and staff celebrated St Patrick's Day in style!! DJ Vana was pumping out the tunes, and everyone threw on their best green for a contest prize that started out as 1500L but turned into 2000L by the end of the night. It was a great party with red solo cups, green beer, and Guinness on tap!

The party area was decked out in decorations. There were huge pots of gold at the end of the rainbow, and a little Leprechaun on stage to make sure no partiers got too greedy! The sploder was constantly filled up with lindens reaching over 1500L! There were kegs of beer all around that served green beer, and red solo cups full of that Irish drinkage. There was even a Beer Dunk for those brave enough to think they couldn't get dunked.

But Randi was the first one to be dunked! It took a few tries, but Pio finally got Randi soaked in beer! But in true fashion Randi went down into the beer drinking from the red solo cup!! Next up was Cris and Nuno! Cris decided that Nuno wouldn't be able to dunk her, but she went diving deep after Nuno showed off his perfect aim!! For the sake of fun and fairness Nuno climbed up to the plank and let Cris dunk him! To be sure she got the best shot she got up close and friendly with the target trigger!! 

The Kissing booth was set up and ready for lovers and strangers to pucker up! The first one to hop in was our own DJ Vana! She leaned over the counter all sexy winking at Randi. They gave everyone an "Aww" moment when they locked lips romantically, and the only time they came up for breath was for a drink! 

Cris and Nuno like true lovebirds rocked the kissing booth as well. Nuno hopped in first, and Cris followed before anyone could take advantage of the sexy DJ Nuno offering kisses! But in true form Nuno put his arm around Cris and dipped her back kissing her passionately on the lips!! We gotta say- Go Nuno!!  Thanks to these two couples the Kissing Booth was almost set on fire by all the passion!!

With the Random Prize Giver passing out prezzies and lindens we had a winner every ten minutes and DJ Vana was in true form playing Irish jigs that had us raising our Irish Beer!! It was a party not to be forgotten the next morning or for awhile to come! We loved seeing all the VIPs that came out, and we are even more excited about the coming events for April! Don't forget- this April we are going to be having our theme parties on Sundays as well so that all our international VIPs can join in on the fun! 

The theme party for next week is going to be a Video Game Party!! We want to see what kind of gamers we have out there and want you to show off the best costume you've got!! Who Dunnit Murder Mystery at Yummy Inc!!

This past Sunday murder, mystery and motives were raised in the first Murder Mystery Party at Yummy Inc. All the suspects gathered at a cult bunker to discover the truth behind the murder of their loved one Tara. As the introductions went on it became clear that any one had a clear motive. Was it her mother who never really approved of what Tara did with her life; Rita- the fortune teller who relied on Tara's business to stay afloat; or the best friend Jolene who was convinced this was all a conspiracy? Or perhaps it was Mickey the Hell's Angel who seemed to love Tara to the ends of the earth, or Lizzy- Tara's good friend who was just released from prison, or Sol who was Tara's "husband" and the leader of the cult she was a part of that secretly demanded absolute obedience who now had a new wife? The suspect list was long, and there were many secrets...but the most important secret tried to stay hidden.

As the evening went on, more facts and feelings were exposed about these friends and family of Tara's but getting to the truth- to answer the question- who did it proved difficult.

Would you be able to tell lie from the truth? To ferret out the real suspects from the innocent? Well now at Yummy Inc you have the opportunity to join in a murder mystery. Dive into the character that is grieving for the loss of a loved one and is now determined to figure out what happened. But remember- the truth you may not want to hear because the truth could be- you are the murderer. When you take part in one of our Murder Mystery Parties you and others are thrown into another world. You are transported to a scene crucial to the victim's life. 

After everyone is gathered you make introductions, finding out exactly who in this inner circle of friends and family are and how they are connected to the victim. But as the evening goes on, motives are exposed, and questions get answered. It's up to you to figure out who dunnit in this killer story. Each round you will discover new information until the climactic ending where the killer is discovered.

We will be starting Murder Mystery Parties at Yummy Inc this coming April! There are multiple mysteries available to take part in, and the number of players can range from 6 to 11!! It's up to you to decide which story you will solve. Keep a lookout at Yummy Inc in-world and on Facebook for up to date event information. Yummy Inc Brings DJ Nuno into the Spotlight

This week's Staff Spotlight is DJ Nuno!! Always guaranteeing a great time with wonderful tunes DJ Nuno has been a part of the Yummy Inc family for a very long time. He started DJing about 8 months ago and is now DJing all around SL. His favorite genre is rock, "I'm a metal head" he confesses.

He first came to Yummy with his wife Cris just looking for a place to dance. He says immediately they felt at home with Vana and Randi. Since that day Nuno hasn't been able to leave Yummy Inc due to the best friends and great atmosphere they experience on a daily basis. He enjoys the fact that the original staff is still a part of Yummy Inc and hopes that new arrivals, with the right motivation, will also find this a great place to work as long as they do it for the right reasons.




When he DJs he loves to go with the flow of the event. He feels that the best experience is when a DJ interacts with the VIPs along the side the Host. So he always hops into local chat and joins the conversation. This helps him to plan what song to play next to go with the flow of the event. DJ Nuno doesn't preset his playlist- he plays from the cuff but admits he always tries to get in some songs by Muse- and who could blame him?

He loves getting requests! The funniest request he ever got from a VIP was also a friend and the song they really wanted to hear was the dirty version of Read a Book. How funny that must have been! He's always doing crazy stuff during his sets so you never know what will happen!

When he's not DJing, you can find Nuno at home with his wife Cris and family. They have two daughters Clara and Mariana.  He also loves to explore SL finding new and exciting places and people.

He also enjoys working at his in world store and marketplace and giving his wife sweet romantic gifts and just having fun. "Sl is perfect for that" he says.

DJ Nuno has a DJ Group for those interested and "it's getting bigger". He wants to start rezing his group invite so that VIPs that want to follow him and make all his sets can. It's called DJ Nuno Friends and Fans.
But you can always catch him at Yummy Inc Club Mondays and Fridays 10am-12pm; Tuesdays to Thursdays 12-2pm Saturdays 2-4 and of course at the lovely Yummy Formal every Sunday from 4-6pm!

This coming Saturday get your boots and feathers on as Yummy Inc presents Cowboys and Indians Event!! There's going to 2,000L up for the best VIP- you heard right- TWO THOUSAND Lindens!!
