Who Dunnit Murder Mystery at Yummy Inc!!

This past Sunday murder, mystery and motives were raised in the first Murder Mystery Party at Yummy Inc. All the suspects gathered at a cult bunker to discover the truth behind the murder of their loved one Tara. As the introductions went on it became clear that any one had a clear motive. Was it her mother who never really approved of what Tara did with her life; Rita- the fortune teller who relied on Tara's business to stay afloat; or the best friend Jolene who was convinced this was all a conspiracy? Or perhaps it was Mickey the Hell's Angel who seemed to love Tara to the ends of the earth, or Lizzy- Tara's good friend who was just released from prison, or Sol who was Tara's "husband" and the leader of the cult she was a part of that secretly demanded absolute obedience who now had a new wife? The suspect list was long, and there were many secrets...but the most important secret tried to stay hidden.

As the evening went on, more facts and feelings were exposed about these friends and family of Tara's but getting to the truth- to answer the question- who did it proved difficult.

Would you be able to tell lie from the truth? To ferret out the real suspects from the innocent? Well now at Yummy Inc you have the opportunity to join in a murder mystery. Dive into the character that is grieving for the loss of a loved one and is now determined to figure out what happened. But remember- the truth you may not want to hear because the truth could be- you are the murderer. When you take part in one of our Murder Mystery Parties you and others are thrown into another world. You are transported to a scene crucial to the victim's life. 

After everyone is gathered you make introductions, finding out exactly who in this inner circle of friends and family are and how they are connected to the victim. But as the evening goes on, motives are exposed, and questions get answered. It's up to you to figure out who dunnit in this killer story. Each round you will discover new information until the climactic ending where the killer is discovered.

We will be starting Murder Mystery Parties at Yummy Inc this coming April! There are multiple mysteries available to take part in, and the number of players can range from 6 to 11!! It's up to you to decide which story you will solve. Keep a lookout at Yummy Inc in-world and on Facebook for up to date event information. Yummy Inc Brings DJ Nuno into the Spotlight

This week's Staff Spotlight is DJ Nuno!! Always guaranteeing a great time with wonderful tunes DJ Nuno has been a part of the Yummy Inc family for a very long time. He started DJing about 8 months ago and is now DJing all around SL. His favorite genre is rock, "I'm a metal head" he confesses.

He first came to Yummy with his wife Cris just looking for a place to dance. He says immediately they felt at home with Vana and Randi. Since that day Nuno hasn't been able to leave Yummy Inc due to the best friends and great atmosphere they experience on a daily basis. He enjoys the fact that the original staff is still a part of Yummy Inc and hopes that new arrivals, with the right motivation, will also find this a great place to work as long as they do it for the right reasons.




When he DJs he loves to go with the flow of the event. He feels that the best experience is when a DJ interacts with the VIPs along the side the Host. So he always hops into local chat and joins the conversation. This helps him to plan what song to play next to go with the flow of the event. DJ Nuno doesn't preset his playlist- he plays from the cuff but admits he always tries to get in some songs by Muse- and who could blame him?

He loves getting requests! The funniest request he ever got from a VIP was also a friend and the song they really wanted to hear was the dirty version of Read a Book. How funny that must have been! He's always doing crazy stuff during his sets so you never know what will happen!

When he's not DJing, you can find Nuno at home with his wife Cris and family. They have two daughters Clara and Mariana.  He also loves to explore SL finding new and exciting places and people.

He also enjoys working at his in world store and marketplace and giving his wife sweet romantic gifts and just having fun. "Sl is perfect for that" he says.

DJ Nuno has a DJ Group for those interested and "it's getting bigger". He wants to start rezing his group invite so that VIPs that want to follow him and make all his sets can. It's called DJ Nuno Friends and Fans.
But you can always catch him at Yummy Inc Club Mondays and Fridays 10am-12pm; Tuesdays to Thursdays 12-2pm Saturdays 2-4 and of course at the lovely Yummy Formal every Sunday from 4-6pm!

Yummy Turns the Spotlight on Theo!

We are turning the spotlight this week onto our fabulous host Theo!! Theo is a VIP favorite and he has a talent for turning the party up and keeping things fun so this week we decided to give you a closer look at this awesome host!

When he's not hosting at Yummy Inc Club, he loves to spend time with his family, and go shopping around SL. His favorite thing to do at Yummy is the Greedy Tables. He's a Greedy Fanatic, "  I love me some greedy hehehehehehe" so watch out if you ever sit down to a tournament with him! We have them all the time at Yummy.

Theo has been hosting in SL for about three years, and still loves it. He says his goal every time is to make everyone feel at home and relaxed. He loves when the huge crowds come in, and how nice the Yummy VIPs are when they land.

What brought Theo to the Yummy Family is the great tunes, the fun times, and the "awesome people"! One of the best things about working at Yummy according to Theo? Working for the lovely Vana, "she is a great boss to have and an amazing friend!" and everyone at Yummy Inc can't help but agree!





One of the funniest moments Theo encountered occurred when he was hosting a big event. The plan was for a biker to make an entrance in a show on his motorcycle~ everything went according to plan except when the biker landed in front of everyone- half naked from the lag on the sim!! Theo was busting up laughing and who could blame him?

When it comes to Yummy Events, Theo says his favorite themed event so far was the Lost in Space a couple of weeks ago. It was Yummy's six month anniversary and the event area was set in space. Theo said it was set up perfectly and it was such a great time with everyone.

Yummy is continuing the weekly events this week with a Rave Party! It kicks off this Sat the 15th at 6pm SLT and will go till 9pm SLT. 1,000K is up for grabs for Yummy's best raver! And as always we have fun events all week (check to the left to see them all!) in the words of Theo -Yummy is  a "great place to meet people and have a good time we have a lot of events going on thru the week so its always party time!" Yummy Inc Got Lost In Space!!

This past Saturday we had our 6 month Anniversary Event and out of this world doesn't begin to describe it! The theme was Lost in Space and Yummy VIPs represented every aspect of everything we love about space! The party was so huge we almost maxed out the sim! We were suspended in space among the stars and planets while DJ Nemo spun universal tunes.

People from all over the universe showed up to celebrate Yummy's Anniversary. Optimus Prime and other transformers made an appearance, as well as Storm Troopers while R2-D2 danced serving drinks. We had dragons, astronauts, predators, levitating aliens, sexy space babes,Robby the Robot, and so much more!

The little Grey Aliens from Area 51 even escaped to come join in the fun! Everyone stayed on their toes though as the Greys brought probes with them! And the end of the event they figured out an escape plan to avoid those pesky Men in Black.









The atmosphere was set in space, with an invisible floor we were dancing in the middle of the universe. With just a click planets were exploding turning our VIPs into "Deathstars". The sploder was going off constantly with hundreds and thousands of linden.

We want to say congrats to our lucky sploder winner that won a Free Profile Pic valued at up to 2500L! Our Anniversary Event was perfect as we celebrated with those who matter most- our VIPs! Everyone had a blast and we thank everyone who came out showing off thier best!

Next Saturday, our themed event will be Jailhouse Rock! We will start the party at 6pm slt and rock out till 9pm slt. We hope to see you all there and throughout the week! The Party Never Stops!!

Yummy Inc has three great events to help you unwind after a long week and a new sponsored event every Monday to start the week out on the right foot (or left if you prefer). We would like to thank all the VIPs that came out for our Events and send out a congratulations to all our winners!! The house was packed this past weekend and the DJs never disappointed!!

Kicking off the weekend parties was our themed Vampire and Lycan Event Saturday night. We had 1000L on the board for the best Vampire/Lycan at the party.  DJ Vavavoom was in true form spinning all the great tunes for Vamps and Lycans! Her host Nori looked beautiful and delicious! The party room was decorated wonderfully with Dragon Blood Fountains, refreshments for Vampire and Lycan alike, as well as Coffins on the side in case you needed to sit down. Of course no one could sit still with the tunes DJ Vavavoom was playing.

The Trivia ball spun all night with themed questions testing everyone's knowledge of the supernatural, proving which of us needed more study...or just quicker fingers! Our VIPs showed their scary sides as well as their sexy side representing the great range of SL.  This themed event was a great time that no should have missed!  We had such a great event with our VIPs rocking the sim- it couldn't have gone better!

Our Sunday event was a blast as well. Latin Sunday kicked off at 2pm SLT with DJ Lovelace and Host SweetP. DJ Lovelace helped everyone get the right steps with her chim and soon we were a force to be reckoned with. Tunes from all the popular Latin artists were constant, drawing all the Latin Music lovers in.

As the party went on, Nemo found himself surrounded by sexy ladies dancing all around him! Everyone looked fantastic in their Latin outfits and the laughs never ended! It was a perfect Sunday dancing the afternoon away!

We ended the weekend party train with a Formal Event with 500L to the winner. DJ Nuno spun tunes as couples spun across the dance floor and his Hostess Cris looked absolutely stunning. The VIPs and Staff showed how elegant they can be and we were blown away. It was THE event to welcome in the new week.

When it comes to starting the week, at Yummy Inc we know how to do it right. Yes it's true- boring Mondays are a thing of the past!! Every Monday we have a sponsored event with LoveCat, this week was a Neko Event which packed the dance floor. DJ Sky kept our bodies moving with great tunes and Host SweetP looked fantastic as always in her Neko outfit!!

The Trivia ball was putting out random questions and the sploder was constantly exploding with hundreds of dollars in the pot. Tails were abound and everyone had a blast! LoveCat will be sponsoring this event with a different theme EVERY Monday!! So be sure to join the party!

Yummy Inc Shines the Light on DJ Vavavoom!

Yummy Inc is proud to bring you our first Staff Spotlight! This week Vanesaa Vavvoom is gracing the Yummy blog page to talk about her love of DJing and her love for Yummy Inc Club. Vavoom has been a DJ in SL for six and a half months, and though some would say that isn't very long~ it's easy to see DJ Vavvaoom has a natural talent!

Her favorite thing about being a DJ she says, is being able to give the crowd and VIPs what they want to hear. "There's no better feeling to me...as a DJ than being told, "I love the music you play!"" Her goal is to have a great time and rock out to hers and her VIPs favorite music. Her favorite genre is is rock but loves anything that makes her smile and gets her booty moving. One of the funniest requests she has ever gotten is Ice Fish Baby by Shad, a rap song.

She was introduced to Yummy Inc Club by DJ Nuno and says it's one of the best things that could happen. "I LOVE the people! The VIPs as well as the staff! So fun! Never a dull moment!"

When she isn't spinning tunes Vavavoom loves to do Photography, and anything that helps her meet new people. Some of the songs you will always find in her playlist are Sick Bubble Gum by Rob Zombie and Sweet Sour by Band of Skulls.

Vavavoom is definitely a DJ you have to hear if you are craving up beat, tap your foot music. When she gets on mic she is always positive and ready for a good giggle! You can catch her at Yummy Inc Friday and Sunday mornings from 10-Noon SLT.
